\nOn May 29, the second event of the NKFI Office\u2019s 10th-anniversary conference series was held at the Museum of Ethnography. The event brought together researchers, university professionals, business representatives, and government decision-makers to discuss the latest issues in bringing research results to market and technological innovation.

Ms. R\u00e9ka Barab\u00e1s (National Innovation Agency) and G\u00e1bor D\u00f3sa (Uni Inno Zrt.) presented the role of technology transfer companies (TTCs\/ TTCs), emphasizing the importance of a market-oriented approach. In Hungary, 16 universities have already launched similar TTC projects that facilitate the transformation of research outcomes into marketable products and services.\n<\/div>

\nThe closing roundtable discussion, which included Andr\u00e1s Ujhegyi, CEO of SZTE TTC Zrt., highlighted that business exploitation should be integrated into researchers\u2019 strategic planning, while basic research continues to serve as the foundation for technological development.\n<\/div>
